Overview

What this module does

Build shifts from templates that note the skills each one needs, assign people, and record check-in, breaks and check-out as the day runs. Swap requests go through a manager. Hours worked come from attendance, while coverage compares the places you planned with the people assigned to them.

Capabilities

In detail

Worker profiles

Skills with levels, certifications with expiry dates, contract type, weekly hours cap and usual availability for each person on site.

Shift templates

Reusable shift patterns with their break rules and the skills or certifications the shift needs, so the rota is not rebuilt from scratch every week.

Rotas

Generate schedules from templates, publish them, and assign or unassign people. A shift can be split into segments, each tied to a zone.

Check-in and hours

Check-in, breaks and check-out recorded against the shift, so the hours worked come from attendance rather than from the plan.

Shift swaps

A worker asks to swap, a colleague accepts and a manager approves or rejects it, with each step recorded.

Labour analytics

Coverage against the rota, attendance, breaks, and how evenly shifts are shared across the team.
