Acceptable use policy

Last updated: 19 September 2026

Draft, subject to contract. These terms are still in review and the wording may change. They show what we intend to offer, and they are not a binding offer: the plan, service levels, hosting and recovery arrangements that apply to you are the ones in your signed agreement.

This policy forms part of the terms of service. It applies to everyone who uses the BeeGrow AI platform, and you are responsible for your users following it.

1. You must not

  • Use the platform for anything unlawful, or to grow anything you are not licensed to grow
  • Attempt to access another tenant's data, or probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our written permission (responsible disclosure under the security page is welcome and is not a breach)
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded
  • Resell, sublicense or provide the platform as a service to a third party without a written agreement with us
  • Upload malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights
  • Use automated means to place unreasonable load on the platform, or circumvent rate limits
  • Share credentials between individuals, or allow a person to use another's account
  • Misrepresent records in the platform for the purpose of deceiving an auditor, certification body or buyer
  • Remove or obscure proprietary notices

2. Fair use of the API

API access on the Professional and Enterprise plans is subject to rate limits published in the API documentation. Limits exist to keep the platform responsive for everyone. If you have a legitimate need for higher throughput, ask us rather than working around them, and we will usually accommodate it.

3. Control integrations

Where you enable two-way control of growing equipment, you must:

  • Configure and maintain safety limits appropriate to your equipment and crop
  • Keep independent physical alarms and fail-safes in place
  • Test control behaviour in a non-production zone before enabling it site-wide
  • Not use the platform as the sole means of detecting a condition that could damage a crop or endanger a person

4. Security obligations

  • Keep credentials confidential and use a unique password
  • Remove access promptly when someone leaves your organisation
  • Report suspected compromise to hello@beegrow.ai without delay
  • Keep site gateway software up to date where we have provided it

5. Enforcement

Where we believe this policy has been breached, we will normally contact you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to put it right. Where a breach poses an immediate risk to the platform, to other customers or to personal data, we may suspend the affected access immediately and tell you as soon as we can. Repeated or serious breach may lead to termination under clause 13 of the terms.

6. Reporting a breach

To report misuse of the platform or a security vulnerability, email hello@beegrow.ai.
